Volunteer Fire Department Alpha 14

The North Kohala region has chronic drought conditions that puts our KRCA and neighboring communities in the high-risk category for wildfires. The Volunteer Fire Department 14 Alpha, located on the Ranch on Ala Kuha, is a team o of first responders that cover KRCA and others communities in the North Kohala Region.

For the past 20 years, the Daniel Sayre Memorial Foundation has raised over $1 million to support local volunteer fire departments. 100% of the donations go towards purchasing rescue equipment and providing vital training to save lives. The r Fire Department 14 Alpha Voluntee is a beneficiary of donations made via the Daniel Sayre Foundation as well as equipment purchased by the Foundation. At the 6/23/2022 KRCA Board of Directors Meeting, The KRCA BOD donated $5k, which Kohala Development (Bob Acree) generously matched with another $5K. To date, X# of KRCA homeowners have donated bringing the total donation amount from the KRCA community to $13,262. This is amazing and the Daniel Sayre Foundation is grateful and thankful!

Our first responders at 14 Alpha continue to need financial support and equipment due to the significant increase of wildfires in our region of the Big Island. Would you consider making a donation? Your interest goes a long way and would be greatly appreciated.
