2024 Brush Clean-up Month

In order to provide ourselves encouragement to reduce the fuel load on our properties, the Fire Protection subcommittee is organizing a Brush Month between March 16 and April 14, 2024.  With the support of KRCA, a dumpster will be made available for residents to dispose of their brush…haole koa especially.  Just cut and dump, easy!  March begins the Spring season and things will dry out pretty quickly, so that’s the time to harden your property by cutting the brush down.  So look now at your property and prepare for what will need cutting in March.This will also be an opportunity for the owners to help each other on vegetation control tasks, including transport of greens to the dumpster.  We will organize ourselves at the March 16 general assembly. We are firming up the location of the dumpster and the dumping times, so stay tuned.
